On January 17, 2026, Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin attended the inauguration ceremony of the second term of the Chinese Business Association in Jeddah and delivered a speech. Nearly 400 representatives from Chinese and Saudi business, education, culture, and other sectors in the consular district attended the event, including Jin Xiaolong, President of the Chinese Business Association in Jeddah, and Xu Yichai, President of the Saudi Chinese Business Association.

In his remarks, Consul General Wang extended warm congratulations to President Jin Xiaolong on his re-election and to all members of the council. He spoke highly of the work accomplished by the first-term and encouraged the new-term association to give full play to its role as a bridge between China and Saudi.
