On May 23rd 2025, Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin attended the opening ceremony of Huawei’s new experience store at Yasmin Mall, accompanied by Lu Ye, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs in the Consulate General.

Wang Qimin, together with Country Manager of Huawei in Saudi Arabia Li Bo, MENA Retail Director Cao Changhui, and the Leasing Director of Cenomi Group, jointly cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the experience store. This store is Huawei’s second experience store in Jeddah, covering an area of nearly 400 square meters. It features five major product categories: smartphones, wearables, tablets, audio products, and PCs, and includes multiple experience zones such as sports and health, smart office, and audio-visual entertainment, allowing customers to personally immerse themselves in a "futuristic" lifestyle.

After the ceremony, Wang Qimin toured various functional areas of the store and they engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from Huawei and Saudi partners to gain a detailed understanding of operational plans and marketing needs. He encouraged all parties to fully leverage the platform's advantages and jointly advance China-Saudi Arabia technological and economic cooperation to new heights.
