On April 22nd, the Chinese Consulate-General in Jeddah hosted "International Chinese Language Day" and Consulate-General Open Day event. Consul General Wang Qimin attended and delivered remarks. Nearly 500 attendees, including consuls general and diplomats from various countries in Jeddah, Saudi educators, students, media, as well as representatives from Chinese enterprises and communities members in the consular district participated.

In his address, Wang Qimin highlighted Chinese as "a gift transcending time and space" that is becoming a vital bridge for global civilizational exchange. He emphasized that mastering the Chinese language and understanding its culture equates to walking alongside China, walking alongside China-Saudi relations, and ultimately walking alongside opportunities and a bright future.

The event featured immersive cultural experience zones showcasing calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, paper-cutting, lacquer fans, Hanfu attire, and traditional Chinese medicine. Additional activities included Chinese cuisine tasting, Chinese E-sports demonstrations, Chinese film screenings, and test drives of Chinese-made automobiles. Attendees universally praised the event as "utterly captivating," expressing deep appreciation for the charm of Chinese culture and the strength of Chinese manufacturing.
