On February 18, 2025, Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin visited the 4th phase of Rabigh desalination project of Shandong Electric Power Construction Company to conduct an on-site inspection.

Consul General Wang Qimin conducted a safety inspection of the project, listened to reports on the project operation and management, and fully affirmed the phased results achieved by the project. Wang emphasized that the project is an important project in Saudi Arabia, which is of great significance to ensuring the safety of local water supply and improving the level of infrastructure. Enterprises should attach great importance to safety work, do a good job in system construction and risk investigation, and ensure the safety of projects and personnel and property.

The project leader said that they will continue to optimize construction management, strictly implement safety production measures, and continuously improve project quality and operational efficiency, so as to make greater contributions to practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia and promoting local economic and social development.
