On January 8 2025, Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin visited the Jeddah Dragon Mall and inspected the inside repair and furnishing progress.The on-site management team reported on the project progress, safety management measures and business plan.

Consul General Wang pointed out that Jeddah Dragon Mall will be a window for Saudi Arabia to learn more about China. Quality of incoming goods should be under strict supervision, after-sales service should be convenient, so as to build a good reputation for Chinese brands. Meanwhile, Dragon Mall should play its role in cross-cultural communication, integrating Chinese elements into the design and operation of the mall to promote bilateral understanding. Wang emphasized that the mall renovation is of large-scale and complicated, the operational team must ensure the quality of the renovation, do a good job in fire protection and personnel safety, laying good foundation for later operations.

The project leader said that they would use Jeddah Dragon Mall as a platform to promote Chinese brands and Chinese culture by providing good services to shops and guiding compliance operations, the mall will contribute to the economic growth of Saudi with high-quality products of China.
