On January 5, 2025, Consul General in Jeddah Wang Qimin visited the site of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC)'s Jeddah City Center Comprehensive Development Infrastructure Project to gain an in-depth understanding of the project progress.

Wang Qimin conducted a safety inspection of the project and listened to reports on the project operation and management, fully affirming the achievements of the project. Wang emphasized that the project is a basic project for the comprehensive development of Central Jeddah, and the company should carry out the project construction with a high sense of responsibility. At the same time, it is necessary to actively give back to the local society, deepen cultural exchanges between China and Saudi Arabia, and contribute to the promotion of practical cooperation and friendship between two countries.

The project leader said that the team would adhere to high standards to promote project construction, strictly implement safety production requirements, further strengthen team building and management, continuously improve project quality and social influence, and add new impetus to deepening practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia.
