On February 17, the 137th Canton Fair Promotion Event was successfully held at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce. Consul General in Jeddah Mr. Wang Qimin, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Center Mr. Ma Fengmin, and Assistant Secretary-General of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce Mr. Mazen attended the event and delivered speeches. Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Consulate-General Mr. Lu Ye also accompanied the event.

Consul General Wang Qimin stated that the Canton Fair is a vivid reflection and excellent window of China's commitment to the policy of opening up. He expressed hope that enterprises from both sides would further enhance exchanges and cooperation, injecting new vitality into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia.

Ma Fengmin introduced the development history of the Canton Fair, noting that the 137th Canton Fair would highlight more features in five aspects: themes, exhibitors, products, supporting activities, and service guarantees. He looked forward to deepening cooperation with the Saudi business community through the Canton Fair platform.

Mazen encouraged Saudi enterprises to strengthen trade and investment cooperation with China through channels such as the Canton Fair, contributing to the realization of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. He stated that the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce would serve as a communication bridge for enterprises from both sides.
